This formal living room has large unique windows that gradually increase in height to the left. They also take advantage of beautiful outdoor views. Before, the windows were heavily draped with both a large cornice and both side panels and sheers. A large amount of furniture crowded the room, and distracted from the beautiful views. Transitioning this room focused on cool and crisp blues, with a gorgeous tan ceiling, rather than white. For this client, reusing existing furniture was of great importance. By using pieces already in the room, and introducing a few new items, the new furniture layout gives a fresh and appealing feel. The furniture now focuses around the large window for bird watching, and views of the outdoors. For the windows, two beautifully sleek side panels are introduced to create a modern look. With clean chrome finials, and formal embroidered fabric, the new drapery finishes off this clean and fresh look... and of course, matching throw pillows are icing on the cake!
