A great formal living space should boast formality but also functionality. What is a great room if you can’t get cozy in it? This living room was once a formal dining space, and has now been transformed into a great cozy space off the front entrance. Deep engineered hardwood floors replaced a carpet/ceramic tile mix to provide contrast to neutral gray walls. Light sheers and end panels allow for natural light to flood this space. A cozy gray rug brings warmth to the center of this room, framing the way for a subtle dose of formal living room furniture. A clean white chest is added for eclectic decor, a formal love seat grounds the space, and a trendy high-back arm chair gives personality. Doses of soft yellow, mixes of silver and gold, and multi tonal wood finishes allow this room to be perfectly eclectic.
